Ailang

Ailang was located far up the Slingwhip River, acting as a major city in trade for travelers coming down the river from Crossroads Lake.

During the reign of the Songkram Empire, Ailang was destroyed following the discovery of survivors of the Ganpoumi Fi council that were being harboured by the locals. The Songkram moved quickly and without mercy, burning the entire city and killing off most of what little remained of the Ganpoumi Fi. The survivors would travel to Fi Lo Hok where a new dojo would be built in secret and remain hidden in the sprawling natural environment.

It's estimated that over 2 million civilians, from the city and the surrounding villages, were massacred by the Songkram, with the rest beaten and thrown into prisons or slave camps as punishment.
